Hotel Condesa

Very friendly staff, amazing location and afordable prices. It's not a 5 star hotel but very honest for the price. I got the all incusive deal from their website and I was expecting an experience similar to cruise ships from MSC, but I think our experience at Condesa Hotel was superior to any cruise we've done before. Food is not amazing but better than cruise ships and good enough for our taste. And Beer is included in the all inclusive package what was a plus, I was expencting just cocktails included in the package. Be aware that the local council charges a fee of 18 Euros for using the sundbeds located on the beach, what I though was very expensive. And you're not allowed to take drinks and food from the hotel to the beach, what was a bummer. In general we really liked our time at the Condesa Hotel. We're definitely going back.

I am just home from a week of staying here with my husband and 1 year old. The weather hasn’t been the best and some days it has been quite chilly. The kids pools are heated which has been great as we’ve still been able to enjoy them even when the weathers not been the best. It was both mine and my son’s birthday whilst we were here and we each received a postcard under our room door inviting us to the Nikita bar for a ‘birthday surprise’ which consisted of a glass of sparkly (for me) and a piece of cake along with the waiters singing happy birthday to us - this was a lovely touch and not something we’d asked for at all. The hotel is situated right on the beach which is great and only a short walk to the shops. We also walked the whole way along the beach to the marina one day which is lovely - would recommend! My only negative about our stay was that in the restaurant none of the food options were labeled so we were unsure what we were eating at times. Luckily we don’t have any allergies but I’m sure this would be difficult for those who do suffer with allergies and need to be more aware of the foods they’ve got on their plate. Overall it’s a good friendly hotel and you can’t fault its location.

Just at Palma de Mallorca Airport having spent a week at Hotel Condesa. We stayed at this hotel in 2023 for 4 nights with friends and enjoyed our time, I remember saying then that 4 days was about the right length of time to spend at this particular hotel. So why did we chose to come back for 7 nights I hear you ask! 1). Flights cost €125 for 2 of us return from Ireland (bags cost €200 as the wife can’t pack light and Ryanair have got really strict again with hand luggage so beware). 2). I was looking at hotels close to Palma airport and they were coming in around €750 for the week on a B&B basis. Hotel Condesa cost €814 All Inclusive with a double sea view room. I was going to hire a car but they were coming in at €400 with Goldcar who I always use so just got a taxi there and back (pricey at €180) but convenience was key. So the stay. When I booked, I specifically asked for a room away from the lifts and heavy footfall. Checked in and went to the room 402 which you guessed it backed straight onto the lift. 3 lifts up back to back with the room and then a 4th opposite. No way I could have done 1 night never mind a week so went straight back downstairs and luckily was moved to 416. Room was small but nice, better than our first trip and much lighter in colour and fresher feeling. Room was refreshed daily if needed. Downsides, I didn’t complain about these things as it was’nt that big of a deal. The top shelf was dusty, I only realised when I put the suitcase up there and brought dust down when I needed it. Aircon and fan didn’t seem to work at all, we didn’t need it owing to time of year. Shower is brilliant. The corridor area is really loud and walls are not insulated so you do hear other clientele. I paid for a pool and frontal sea view. I would recommend Garden and side sea view if you want a quieter room as the staff move furniture around the pool and entertainment area very early in the morning. Scraping of chairs isn’t great. Food and drink. We arrived on the opening day and food was always very plentiful but very repetitive each day. The same buffet/canteen kind of experience gets a little monotonous after a few days (hence 4 days being enough). We ate in Trattoria Don Jamie Restaurant last night and that was still buffet style, last time we stayed it was waiter service making it a little different. Staff were always pleasant and on hand if needed. Drinks package is very good and bar staff are very accommodating, always very pleasant. Sky bar is an additional fee but worth a trip and cocktails are better. Thinking of whether to do AI, half board B&B etc, depends on what you want. We went out one night and only had 1 drink each, bread and alioli to share and then a main each and it came to €70. I think you’d be banking on at least, €120 per day for 2 people. Bearing in mind we paid €814 with food and drink included is a good price, just boring, same atmosphere, people and food. Pool and sea area is good, our first few days we spent on the island beds which were great but then 3 days in they started charging €25 for a bed so no one was using them! But they are comfortable. Alcudia itself. We walked to Alcudia Old Town and the Town itself is lovely. Areas surrounding a little dirty and run down. We also walked to Can Picafort and found the same walking down there was dirty and needed a good clean up. You can do the beach in both directions. So thankyou Hotel Condesa and staff for accommodating us. We did enjoy our stay and the hotel is worth considering.
