  Beautiful resort with outstanding staff

  We had an amazing stay at The Anam Cam Ranh. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, and the service throughout was excellent.What really stood out for us was the staff, who truly go above and beyond. During our stay, we had an unexpected situation, and their support made a difficult time much easier for us.We would especially like to thank Miss Thien and Min, who were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us, including assisting with immigration arrangements and being available outside of working hours. We can’t thank them enough. Their support meant a great deal to us and made a real difference to our stay.We would highly recommend this resort and would love to return.   I recently stayed at The Anam for my babymoon, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible experience, largely thanks to Manager Min.From the moment we checked in, Min went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. As I am currently pregnant, I was naturally more concerned about my comfort and well-being, but Min’s proactive care completely put me at ease.What touched me the most was how she checked in on me every single day via message. She didn’t just ask about my stay. she genuinely cared about my condition and constantly followed up to ensure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality made me feel truly cared for as an expectant mother.Thanks to Min, my memories of this resort are filled with warmth and comfort. She is a true asset to your team.   Best Resort in Vietnam.

  My wife and I have been traveling throughout Southeast Asia. We have stayed at some remarkable resorts in Thailand and Vietnam. The Anam was incredible from checking in to checking out. The rooms are nice. The food was great. Special thanks to Nhu at the Colonial restaurant. She was the highlight of our night. Had a "You have got to be kidding"me 5 course meal. She was perfect. And to my hero Danny. When we checked in we asked him to perform the impossible. He arranged a round of golf for my wife and me at the KN golf club. On a weekend. Dude is a stud. Every resort should have a Danny. Oh yes. The rest of the staff was also top notch. Will definitely tell our travel agent this is a place to send anyone.   Stunning Gardens, Beach and Service with a World Class Dining Option

  Lovely high quality resort. Good food, service and high standards of cleanliness. The beach in front of the hotel is stunning, as are the extensive resorts gardens, with it's 3,000 palm trees . The team managing the beach and pools were extremely helpful and courteous during our stay.The resort was at full occupancy during the Tet holiday period. The team in the main were very helpful and always welcomed you with Xin Chao. Even the large gardening team, always said hello with a genuine smile when we passed any of them in the resort. Hien, Nhu, Linh and Nhan were stand out stars during our stay in the bar/restaurant teams.The rooms are spacious, spotless and the beds the most comfortable of our 6 week long trip.A specific mention goes to the Colonial restaurant whose breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were all world class and would be worthy of a Michelin guide entry. Dinner service at times was a little slow at the Beach Club restaurant , but again the hotel was running at full capacity and the restaurant was full on a number of nights we visited. Some suggestions for slight improvements would be as follows:We found the Guest Service team to be a little inexperienced with various interactions with them for help. We had asked for assistance with onward transport to their sister hotel in Mui Ne and then from the Anam Mue Ni to HCM, unfortunately the hotels transport was fully booked, it would have been helpful if the GS team had 3rd party partners with pricing that they could recommend.We had a similar experience when we wanted to hire the resort bikes for a trip into nearby Cam Ranh, but were informed that the bikes were only for use around the resort. It would have been helpful if GS could have recommended an outside company who could provide cycle hire.The Beach Club doesn't open until 11:am, which we personally felt was a bit late if you wanted a mid morning refreshment on the beach.Aside from the aforementioned minor issues, we had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Anam and would stay again if back in this region of Vietnam again. We would highly recommend this resort, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam.   Cockroach at 4 A.M. and Ongoing Service Confusion

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share this experience for everyone’s sake, including the resort management.Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel two months in advance regarding room arrangements for our multi-night stay. Since the resort homepage was promoting an upgrade for a three-night consecutive stay, we booked three nights even though the last night was not truly necessary due to our late flight. By email, I was told that the team would do their best to avoid requiring us to move rooms.Upon arrival, I was informed that there was no room available for the promotional upgrade for direct bookings. Although disappointed, I accepted this. A manager then assured me that I would not need to revisit the lobby the next day for the room change.However, the following morning I received calls from two different front desk staff members asking me to return to the lobby. When I requested to speak with the original manager, another staff member came to my room instead, requiring me to explain everything again.I was eventually told that I would be taken directly to my new room by buggy, but the buggy staff brought me back to the lobby. . at this point I was laughing at disbelief on how there is no communication among staff at all.Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there.After moving rooms, at 4 a.m. I encountered a large CoackroacH...in the bathroom, while I was awakened by the mosquitoes in the room.Service delays also occurred repeatedly. An ice bucket request took nearly an hour and required a follow-up call. During afternoon tea, despite having a reservation, we were told that the standard wait time was 25 minutes before being served desserts such as macarons. Why??In addition, when my child looked toward the salad bar area(since he had breakfast there) a staff member approached in a stern tone said that food would be served to us and not from that section(assume it was for lounge guests) which is fine, but she said, "Do you understand??" The wording was quite rude to speak to the guest in that manner.At the hotel spa, after two separate treatments, there was no post-treatment guidance. We were unsure whether we should change and leave, as no staff member returned to assist us.Finally, after settling the bill one hour before departure, we were stopped while boarding the hotel van because a signature was apparently missing. While minor on its own, it was another example of internal miscommunication.Individually, each issue may seem small but it was too repeatative and totally ruined our stay.The property itself is beautiful, but for guests who value comfort and reliable service, highly unrecommended.
