Terrible hotel
Although the hotel premises are a little outdated and need renovation, the rooms are quite comfortable. But if you can, try to avoid this hotel. The alternatives are not numerous but they exist. The service, with a few exceptions like Carlos (the Lifeguard), is almost non existent. The reception ist cold and almost unfriendly. The food expensive and just ok. Good facilities such as the gym, pool, and sun area, also, and surprisingly, it has a tennis and squash court. Rooms in need of modernization.Mostly utilized by Cabin Crew from airlines. Default big, safe hotel near the airport.
Most of the airlines still flying in and out of Caracas base their pilot and cabin crews here on layovers and it is easy to see why. It's about 15 minutes from the airport, is up a steep driveway on a hillside with views out to sea from most rooms. Very secure, nice terrace and pool, absolutely standard big modern hotel.
