Great experience at the JW Marriott on my latest trip to Caracas. Helpful staff, welcoming atmosphere, great service. The transportation company was exceptionally helpful, airport transfers were flawless and our courteous and attentive drivers got us everywhere we needed to be on time. Terrible. Party noise on 2 nights was so bad (on 9th floor) that we were finally moved (on final night). We had 2 different visits. Items in storage between these visits were lost or stolen. We tried on 3 consecutive days to get the missing items. Each time we were told 'vamos a averiguar'. They never got back to us. The hotel decor and furnishings are tired. It is not a 5 star hotel.
