Gloria Hotel may have seen better days but the room was big, clean and the bed was great. Bathroom well appointed so a big plus. I arrived on Saturday at 8 in the morning and they gave me the key to the room. They forgot wake up call at 7 in the morning as I had requested. I made the check out on Sunday morning and went back next Saturday because I had a booked one month in advance. I was very pleased with this hotel. My room was large (but not all rooms are the same size) and it was well appointed. Breakfast in the morning was fine - plenty of choices. Room 302 was very spacious and very good with all amenities (but no safe).Breakfast was not what you expect from a 4-star hotel, especially when you pay USD 110,- a night. It was too basic. Our original hotel had construction work on so that manager suggested this hotel. We called up and the Reception were most helpful in negotiating a better rate for us.The rooms are large and well furnished. Everything works here unlike our experience with Hotel Uzbekistan!
