  I never take time to write a critic on tripadvisor but this time I felt it is essential to prevent others from experiencing such an ordeal. I have spend my life travelling around the globe and I have never seen such a terrible hotel.   Bad experience - This hotel isn't respect tourist with fake photos. Horrible 'desayuno'.Don't mind twice: choose another.   My boyfriend and I used Hotwire to book a 4 day/3 night trip to Punta del Este and we were assigned Hotel Aqua. We got a standard room with a queen sized bed. Upon entering the hotel, it smells like mildew and feels stuffy. The room itself was extremely small.....but understandable given the low price of $95/night we paid during high season.
