  I didn't find many hotel options in Punta del Este. This one was ok.

  Old building. Friendly staff. Limited parking at site or street parking. No electric outlets near bed to charge phone/laptop. Closer to the beaches, town, and attractions nearby.   The hotel is 7 minutes away from the beach. There is a street with cafes and restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff, especially the staff at the breakfast cafe and the girl who cleaned our room every day. The room is spacious. There is a refrigerator and an air conditioner.   This is a nice, two-story hotel from the late 1960's that survived the demolition of the area and its replacement with soulless condo towers. The location is unbeatable. The hotel has an old-fashioned vibe, in a good way. It opened in 1970, is definitely a bit worn around the edges but very well maintained, including the common areas and gardens, very clean and comfortable.   The location is very good (around the corner from the Enjoy Casino & hotel). Outdoor parking is exclusive for the hotel residents, and it is not charged additionally.Front desk staff are good.When I arrived, the room they were going to give me had the air conditioning at full power (it was a winter night).   Pleasant enough, basic hotel. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but very clean. Breakfast is good and its handy that it runs till 12. Pool is a nice addition.
