An alternative form of hotel on first entering but the rooms (which include a small kitchen) are of a very good size, and well appointed. The balcony was also very large and we had a great aspect in Room 212.It is quite a walk from the centre of Punta del Este but can readily be walked.There are also a number of restaurants very close to the hotel, with plenty of choice, and also a convenient supe… An alternative form of hotel on first entering but the rooms (which include a small kitchen) are of a very good size, and well appointed. Recommended but best choose a room away from the noisy bars and their loud music for a good night's sleep!

The hotel is very conveniently located , walking distance from the Shopping Centre. It was good value for money with a Spring promotional rate, especially as we could opt for independence and not pay for breakfast as the apartment has a small kitchen to prepare something basic in the room.Best rooms have a balcony and overlook houses and gardens at the back, quieter than overlooking the street. Location is not perfect, but it's close to the shopping mall and great restaurants. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. Still, there's the problem with the bar on the first floor. As I'm writing these lines, I'm feeling really angry because, I need to wake up tomorrow at 6 AM (I came on a work trip) it's long past midnight now and I can still hear the tango and crappy latin music from the… Location is not perfect, but it's close to the shopping mall and great restaurants. 2122 Hotel Art Design worked perfect. Central to a lot of things in PDE and our room even had different kinds of plug adapters. Parking was easy too. The hotel has a great location, close to the two most famous beaches of Punta and very close to Punta's shopping mall. The rooms are nice, cozy and spacious and staff is very friendly.
