  Good value but noise ruins it

  I always like to start with the positives so here goes. It’s good value and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.However (and I’m surprised you do t see this more in reviews) it’s very very noisy on a Thursday/ Friday and Saturday night.   A good base to explore Montevideo - easy to walk to the Central Market for delicious steak!! The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant on site for breakfast which was good and it was open all day for other meals.   Did not have a good experience because of safety issues near the hotel. Constant traffic noise and loud music at night.

  The hotel is located in a rundown area and not safe at night after 7:00 p.m. The windows are none cancelling of noise and traffic noise is loud and constant. There was loud music all night long from a bar or disco near the hotel. Good room size. Poor breakfast.Could not sleep for the 2 nights and was reported to the front desk that were not surprised.
