Central Location, but Disappointing Overall Experience
The Radisson Montevideo benefits from a central location in the city; however, this aspect did not ultimately enhance our stay. While being in the downtown area may seem convenient, we found that the surroundings felt rather unsafe and uncomfortable, particularly after dark. In retrospect, we would recommend considering accommodation in Punta Carretas or further east, where the environment appears… The Radisson Montevideo benefits from a central location in the city; however, this aspect did not ultimately enhance our stay. Just ok
Good location walking distance to the lovely port market, teatro solis etc. Large rooms with comfortable beds but very dated, plumbing needs upgrading and awful thin towels. The bathroom looks like it's been partially upgraded but really needs an overhaul.Breakfast is good and served on 25th floor with great views.Fabrizio on the front desk was super helpful.Good location walking distance to the lovely port market, teatro solis etc. Large rooms with comfortable beds but very dated, plumbing needs upgrading and awful thin towels. Good position
One weekend in Montevideo in this hotel with great position to visit the old downtown. Rooms are old but spacious. Breakfast is fair (with fresh orange juice). In the bar for a drink after dinner, staff didn’t know how to serve grappa. Still I’d come back and recommend the place. One weekend in Montevideo in this hotel with great position to visit the old downtown. Rooms are old but spacious. Very nice hotel
A huge hotel in the heart of Montevideo’s old town. The rooms offer beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The room was quite spacious and clean. It has an excellent fitness center and a swimming pool. Nothing to complain about.A huge hotel in the heart of Montevideo’s old town. The rooms offer beautiful views. Standard US business hotel in not very nice neighborhood
Location is very central. However, the centre of Montevideo is not especially atttactive. Hotel is quite massive, 25 floors. Room was spacious. Good closet but only 5 hangers. Good drawer. Bed okay. Shower in a bath. Breakfast in 25th floor, quite standard. There are stairs to the hotel main door, and you have to carry your luggage by your own there.Location is very central.
