This is actually quite a nice hotel, despite some of the negative reviews, the room I stayed in on the 6th floor was recently refurbished, comfy bed, good shower and cleaned daily. Location is very good only a short walk to the main street. Found a wonderful restaurant on the same street, Paraguay. The hotel is in a great location and the price is very reasonable. Yes, it is dated and yes it would do with a facelift; however, that being said, it is clean and it is safe. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is included.The hotel is in a great location and the price is very reasonable. A godsend of a hotel. Check-in was a breeze, and we loved the free breakfast of scrambled eggs, pastries, toast, and cheese. Kids loved the flan and cakes. Even the free coffee here was decent! Our room was quite small - just big enough for 1 king and 1 twin - but arranged well so there was a little privacy for our teenager.Front desk speaks great English and was very helpful. Be cautious here. As a seasoned Traveler I have learned that's if the hotel has a policy to take a copy of your Visa card and also your security code it will inevitably end up in the wrong hands This hotel has a policy of copying all documentation and then keeping it on file the method of disposal is to rip the Sheet of paper in half and pop it in the bin....
