We had a lovely stay here. We were warmly greeted at check in and pleasantly surprised by the room, which was a very good size. Two large comfortable beds. Dining table & chairs, desk, coffee/tea maker, TV, armchair. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of storage in a large wardrobe. Iron & ironing board in the room, and safety deposit box. Great location near el centro. Clean, quiet room, comfortable bed. Very friendly helpful staff. The faucet in the sink is not long enough so when you try to wash your hands the water spills behind the sink onto countertop- only complaint- they should replace the faucets with longer ones.Great location near el centro. They are trying to steal money.We had a 3-day reservation, but on the very first day the hotel went into complete collapse. The elevator wasn’t working, the lights were out, there was no internet, and there was unbearable noise from outside. It was impossible to stay at the hotel. The building is very old, the rooms are not updated, and I thought we were going to fall through the floors while walking between elevators. The reception staff was clueless and told me I didn't reserve a breakfast rate despite that my reservation stated I did and I paid extra for it. The halls are really dark and the rooms smell. The absolute worst staff I have ever experienced in all my travels around the world. Disinterested would be kind. Rude and arrogant is fair. They are appalling and don’t deserve to work here. The location is awesome and the rooms comfortable but we would never stay here again and would never recommend it.
