Stayed for 1 night as part of our Yellowstone/Grand Teton road trip, it’s ideally situated for the Old Faithful geyser area, you can’t beat the location.Unfortunately it wasn't the best accommodation we stayed in, we had a Western Cabin, with 2 queen beds. The size was ok for 2 people, but it’s old & has seen better days, needs a good refurb! Comfortable, accessable to Grand Canyon features, but like all park lodging it is very pricey. Food service is terrible. Main dining room is crowded, slow, and incompetent. We had a cabin at Old Faithful Snow Lodge which worked out very well. It was plenty large enough with a small kitchen, living area and bedroom with two queen beds. Plenty of room. The place is filthy. We have been staying there for years and it keeps going downhill. Stuff spilled on bathroom walls that have dust over the top of it. Baseboards filthy. Top of fridge so dusty. Counter top edges grimy. Shower curtain covered with mildew and reeking. While thankfully they did change the shower curtain when requested they clearly could care less about the cleanliness of the rooms… The place is filthy. We received the best service at this hotel. All of the staff were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. We didn't eat in the dining room, but the appetizers at the bar were delicious. The fast food type eatery (don't remember name) was just typical fast food! The room was large, clean and very inviting.
