Hotel was beautiful. Room was stuffy without AC and the dining room food was just okay. Skip the dinner reservation and get the AMAZING appetizers at the bar for dinner!Hotel was beautiful. Location very good and we stayed in the Sandpiper Lodge at Lake Yellowstone Hotel. Room small but very clean and enough room to put all our belongings. The one disappointment was the restaurant for dinner. Limited choices and food was okay nothing special. The salads however were very good and generous. As senior with some travel experience I was more then disappointed with my stay at Yellowstone Hotel. I would suggest that one you understand the concept of the law of supply and demand when booking a very expensive cubicle of a space, which had no amenities (TV or Fridge). The demand would be the only reason for the excess charge of $600+ for one night. Terrible experience. Booked “deluxe” room with lake view. No WiFi or cell service. Old and noisy. Our server at breakfast was so odd that we didn’t even know he was our server. He never introduced himself and was totally checked out. But, the worst part was the uncleanliness of our room. I noticed that there was blood on the base of our toilet.
