  2hrs stuck in traffic getting there. Go in office to get room keys only to get passed on to the devils helpers to get parking permits. High pressure sales demons. The next day come back. From town with dinner to find our room keys don't work.they shut them off at office. Very very unethical. They rent rooms out so there are no availabilities for members who pay for the maintenance. The sales demons have orders from headquarters to pressure you to buy at outrageous prices to better themselves. No sense complaining, top brass is in on it. Totally unethical. We left a day early.   Surprise gem in this German inspired town

  The resort has awesome staff… from the reception area to housekeeping… they are awesome… in the middle of the night, Glen of house keeping (I think) was very kind to deliver our request despite the cold weather…Worldmark is fortunate to have their employees… Wyndham Destinations, Owner at Worldmark Leavenworth, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your review of your recent 5-star stay with us.   This review is for this specific location but is a warning for all Wyndham/Worldmark locations.My parents are longtime owners in this timeshare company and every time my family has traveled with them we have encountered high pressure sales people. It starts at check-in where they they want to schedule you for a sales presentation and won't easily take no for an answer. On this trip we said no multiple times and two different sales people literally chased us out the door offering bigger and bigger gifts to attend.Finally, my parents agreed to attend the current owner presentation because the gift package offered was very generous.However, the next morning at the presentation they had no record of that generous offer and said all they could do was a lesser offer. Conveniently the sales people that made the original offer were not around and the corporate office would not approve more.I was very proud of my step-dad for standing his ground and just walking away before the meeting when they wouldn't honor their offer.The problem with these timeshare schemes is that the owners have no leverage. They have already invested in it so there is no incentive for Wyndham/Worldmark to act with honesty and integrity. The only reason they get any stars is that the actual property is really nice. Just avoid all sales staff regardless of what they offer you. It's just not worth the hassle.   Clean fantastic views the front desk gals and guys are just super. Cant say enough good things about Mindy , Sahai , Shawn.They went out of their way to help me and in the disabled unit that was a huge help to me on the ground floor. Wyndham Destinations, Owner at Worldmark Leavenworth, responded to this review Thank you for awarding us with a 5-star rating!   The Sales Presentation

  My husband and I rode the train from Seattle to Leavenworth. When we checked in the office staff were WONDERFUL. We were given assistance hauling our luggage and treated very well. The pressure came when we were forced to attend sales presentation, we were forced to attend and give them a credit card to ensure we did indeed attend. The amount of duress and pressure put upon us wrecked the entire stay. We repeatedly told them NO, we did not want to attend but they continued to persist and harass us. In fact after attending the presentation we were waiting for a cab outside the resort center and two representatives continued to berate us, even though we told them three times that we did not want to talk anymore and had attended a presentation. They said they had to have answers because their manager was pushing them. Another experience like this and we will never recommend Wyndham / Worldmark and will take every opportunity to inform people of the unhealthy environment created at a place that is supposed to be a vacation and a place to leave the normal pressures of everyday life. The condo itself was very nice, but the spa was right next door and filled with kids, laughing and screaming.....no way was I going into "the pee pool". The location is about a 20 minute walk into downtown Leavenworth. We took a cab to the Reindeer Farm and to Safeway for groceries. The overall experience of the town's excellent customer service in the restaurants, transportation and shops was excellent, the sales presentation is brutal.
