The US Capitol is 12 minutes' drive, and the hotel is conveniently placed for the metro, with Foggy Bottom/GWU station 2 blocks away and Union Station (Amtrak) just a short taxi ride from the hotel. Reagan National and Washington Dulles airports are also only a short drive away.

Facility

The hotel has 240 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Beautiful hotel made even more amazing by Mel. After 12 hours of traveling, she immediately made me glad I’m staying here. She was so sweet and helpful, I would gladly come back so long as Mel is here! Her customer service is exceptional

    The hotel was amazing — so classy and professional. Our room had all the amenities we needed and the comfiest mattress. Naty at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel at ease in a city full of strangers. Amazing hotel, amazing trip.

    Great Location; Awful Wifi. The hotel is cute but feels in need of some TLC. On the plus side, spacious room, comfortable bed, nook with a desk. Bath tub in shower. I was able to walk to the National Mall in around 30m, which was fantastic because a lot of the streets were closed to traffic.On the minus side, the wifi was 1996 dial-up quality. I was in DC for work and it couldn’t support video; it couldn’t support audio only. It couldn’t stream. It couldn’t download. It took me about 60m to connect - think weak signal - and then it kept dropping. I was wondering if my room was somehow jinxed but checked with someone else and they said the same thing. I actually left early to use the wifi at the airport. That tells you all you need to know.

    The hotel was very ideally/centrally located and you had access to all locations a visitor may like to see.Getting around was easy and simple with rides available within minutes of your call.The staff was very courteous, helpful.
