Great hotel with room to improve on customer service
The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the national mall and nearby museums. Rooms are smaller but clean and have all the basic needs met. Relatively quiet considering the busy city area. Breakfast made it easy to get out and get the day started and the coffee was good! Unfortunately, the two front desk staff- Amber and Ameka seemed totally inconvenienced with any customer interaction. Excellent location, great staff, worked well for my dog too!
Stayed here for the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was very well situated with less than a mile walk to the Tidal Basin. My dog was welcomed with open arms ... literally. Amber and Ameka both bolted from behind the desk to greet her. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, breakfast good. There is a nice park just across the street that worked well for walking my dog. There was no internal noise heard… Stayed here for the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was very well situated with less than a mile walk to the Tidal Basin. First D.C. Trip - Excellent Stay!
We went to D.C. for the first time and we loved it! My main goal was to choose a hotel that had the following:Walking distance to the White House.Free breakfast.A pool.Washer & Dryer. This hotel met all of those expectations! The staff were polite and professional and the check in process was smooth. I asked for a room with a mini fridge because I read in the reviews that not all of the rooms c… We went to D.C. for the first time and we loved it!
