Things break but location is solid & service is great

Since we’ve been here, the hot water and then the elevator has gone out. For $900/night, that’s rough. The steam room was out another time we were here. Still, we keep coming back because the front desk employees are consistently so nice, the location is great, rooms are decent-sized although some are “tired,” love the gym, saunas, hot tubs & cold plunge, & it’s dog friendly. We had a wonderful experience with our dog. The staff was great and the shoulder season was the perfect time to visit Vail. The fire pit on the spa balcony while looking at the mountain is amazing. This was the worst experience of a stay I've ever had. We had an experience with the front desk person named Taylor who couldn't be more rude if she tried. She was rude at every opportunity she had. We had two shoes in the tote bag they have in the rooms. I asked if they charged if we took them and she said yes but didn't know how much. Things were okay until check out and I somehow ended up with $300 in extra charges. I wouldn’t recommend. Not worth it for plenty reasons but this is the biggest. Honestly am so upset that I chose this place to be where I decided to stay to get married.
