Great Resort for Family Ski Vacation

We stayed here for a week for a family ski vacation. I was nervous before check-in because we got such a great deal (RCI Extra Vacation for not even 1/3 the cost I thought it should have been.) Avon is a great small Colorado town close to Vail & Beaver Creek Ski areas. The accommodations are roomy with all amenities. Delicious coffee & hot cocoa in lobby. We had a great visit! The rooms are well equipped and beautifully decorated with amazing views. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I have been cancelled by this resort two years in a row. Both times I booked it through my credit card CapitalOne. Last year they cancelled my reservation because they overbooked it. I had called weeks before my arrival date and they had my reservation and everything was good. When I showed up, they no longer had it. I thought it was a glitch, so I tried again this year. Beautiful views, poor maintenance

We spoke to the staff several times about the air conditioner in the primary bedroom not working (room 505). It would stop working after about an hour of use. They taught us how to flip a switch in the utility closet, wait three minutes, flip the switch again and then turn on the air conditioner.
