Misleading website and representative when booked

We stayed for 3 nights. The resort was destroyed by hurricane Helene. It is not fully functional. only 1 building with 52 rooms can house guests, not 196 rooms as their website advertises. the pool has no umbrellas or awnings so you are in full sun. The restaurant and tikii bar do not exist and will reopen next year. The continental breakfast was ok but did not include the typical bananas or hard… We stayed for 3 nights. This resort was highly recommended by friends. Upon booking and through subsequent phone calls I was never informed that the resort is under total renovation. Restaurant, pool bar were closed plus construction noise started around 8:30. It took me multiple requests to speak to the manager and phone calls to her that were not returned. DO NOT stay here! Rooms very substandard. No umbrellas at the pool. Linens paper thin. Grounds a mess. Fountain not working. Construction still on premises, which we were not told about at time of booking. Paid xtra for a waterfront room. The “waterfront “ was a small view of a canal.
