Property under renovations, unpleasant experiences
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I enjoy staying at different properties throughout Hilton's portfolio when I stay in particular area. This property is definitely declined since it’s became a Doubletree. It used to be a Hilton. They’ve done away with people to help with luggage and the train shuttle. There was only one paper cup in the room, and no pen or paper. I know I’m a relic, but those are small conveniences when you’re traveling. Not the experience I’d hoped for
The attendant who greeted me at check-in (Tuesday night, July 7) was singularly unwelcoming. All he needed to do was smile and seem genuinely interested in my being accommodated. Instead it seemed that he wanted to be rid of me.By contrast, the attendant who greeted me on checkout this morning was excellent.Other items: the bed in my room was creaky and bumpy.
