The Tropicana Field baseball stadium is around 7 minutes away by car, and the St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market is only about 300 m from the hotel. Fort De Soto Park is approximately 25 km away, and Tampa is around 40 km. Orlando Sanford International Airport is approximately 20 km, and Tampa International Airport is about 35 km away. Very nice hotel in a great location. Free shuttle to Tropicana field and the “looper” all around St Pete. Never needed the car after checkin. Beautiful hotel within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. As a Hilton member for many years was disappointed there was no complimentary coffee and the parking was $45 daily. It's very surprising that corporate has not yet chosen to renovate and update this well-located Hilton hotel in downtown St. Petersburg. The rooms definitely look dated, shabby and worse-for-wear. I stayed in one of their suites, which at the height of season can go for as much as $400+ a night. The carpet looked worn and faded and a couple of the lampshades had actual holes and stains.
