Let me start by saying that but for three initial interactions with staff this would be 4 or 4.5 star review. This hotel is in a brilliant location. It was very clean, and the breakfast was a notch or two above the usual Hampton Inn breakfast. We chose the Hampton Inn because it was downtown near the pier. The location was perfect, right on Beach Drive and just off Central Ave. It was perfect for walking to most of the museums downtown. Lots of restaurants along Beach Dr and the St Pete Pier. Valet parking is $25/night. Just call ahead when you want your car. I love Hampton Inns for their breakfasts, especially the waffles. Stayed this past weekend for a wedding that was in town. The staff.,,, Greyson and Erica were always there with smiles. Room was clean and AC worked great. Parking with valet was organized chaos but were advised when parking they need 20-30 mins lead time or a set time to get your car so at least you know what to expect.
