Hotel Needs a facelift - and stick it to you on parking

Location is perfect. Across the street from Our Lady of La Leche. Walking distance to Old Town. The trolley drives by. Went with my daughter. Room is a nice size, beds were comfortable. Bathroom is big, has all the amenities. There's a mini fridge, iron. Very clean. Lobby is also nice, they have coffee and water. There's a gym, restaurant and bar. Free wi-fi. Parking is extra. Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton St. Augustine Historic District was deeply disappointing from start to finish.At check-in, the front desk agent was rude and uninterested. I picked this hotel for two reason. First it was close to town.As an older couple it took us about 20 minutes to get into restaurants.Second was the EV charging station. They only have one and it's NOT a fast charger. It's a level 2 charger.If you want Wifi you have to be a honors member.
