Dark, musty and poor housekeeping

This place is priced WAY too high for the accommodations and service you receive. The rooms are dark and musty smelling. The staff is indifferent and kind of rude.

Cannot believe I paid almost $200 for this room! Tiny room , looking at a corner of parking lot despite beautiful scenery all around. Not sure what people are rating here -- maybe bathroom cleanliness?Unable to cancel reservation two days ago without being charged, so didn't do it... bad news for Hilton and Delta stays. Making the trip here unpleasant from the get-go.

Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Issaquah Needs an extensive remodel!!

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to some attractions and restaurants that were nearby. Due to highway construction, it took us forever to get to this place but when we arrived the hotel desk was very pleasant and respectful. However based on the price of this room, we were disappointed by the "wear and tear" exhibited in this particular room. There was paint chipping in some of the rooms, parts of the blackout shade mechanism had been torn loose from the wall and the bathtub drain wasn't working correctly. While these concerns weren't worth the time to bring them to the attention of the hotel as they should have known about them already if they do daily room cleaning, There is also no way to secure personal items both in the room or on property. When I approached the front desk about securing a large item, the front desk said they could not secure anything larger than a "small item". I felt for the price it could have been much nicer. Another negative was that the hotel breakfast was an extra charge per day where some lesser priced hotels it is included in the full price. If I am ever in this area again, most likely would not chose this property as a place to stay.

The check in process was amateur hour in terms of efficiency and common sense. Next were promises asserted by the call check inn agent and the front desk. A small breakfast included as stated by the front desk was later confirmed as not included. But the fun does not stop there. Did this place get all their furniture at a used furniture sale? A plastic office chair? Really? And how about a swimming pool and hot tub with absence of the hot part. But wait, there’s the dirty swimming pool water also. Next, we go to the bathroom in the room itself. Is this Hilton competing with motel six? Apparently. Dirty carpet. Add on charges aplenty for what should be included for the high price tag. D- if I wear a school teacher and that’s being generous. Don’t sign up with their program.

Asthma unfriendly Hilton

If you have asthma or migraines, be careful staying at this property. They use very strongly fragranced cleaning supplies and put air freshener in the actual a/c, so you cannot escape the strong odors. This immediately caused a headache and triggered my asthma. Be sure to have your meds with you if you stay here.Management was clueless about the dangers of such products to people sensitive with asthma, allergies, migraines, etc. Manager said they use “non-invasive” products, but there’s no such thing. If you can smell it, the chemical has invaded your lungs. They were rude and said it doesn’t bother any of them and that it just “smells clean.”After the desk clerk yelled at me for several minutes, they told me the only option was for me to go somewhere else because all of their rooms have been cleaned the same. They at least canceled the reservation…. Was all they did.This used to be my favorite Issaquah hotel. Will not be returning due to hotel now being very asthma unfriendly. No clean air anywhere in the hotel. You will breathe strong “perfume” the whole time you’re there. Try the Marriott where they use safe cleaning products.
