Wow! I'm surprised by some of the reviews I'm reading here. There are very different from my experience last weekend. I made a last minute reservation to join a group for a college reunion at a very reasonable rate. Acceptable, but not great.
The hotel staff was polite, and the breakfast was good. The gym equipment is dated—the staff couldn’t get the peloton bike to work (needed a hotel activation code/wasn’t connected to WiFi), the pulley weight system is missing basic one arm grips to be able to do any sort of two pulley exercises, and the dumbbells are weirdly skipping from 20lbs to 35 lbs due to missing 25 and 30’lb weights. Unsanitary, unprofessional front desk staff and noisy
The bathroom cleanliness was unacceptable. The bathtub was heavily stained and appeared improperly cleaned (I have photo proof). I slipped getting in the shower tub due to debris left unclean appearing to be oily cosmetic residue. The toilet was also dirty and appeared halfway broken, which made the room feel unsanitary from the start. Don't stay here if you can help it
The staff were all lovely BUT....The hotel itself is old and shabby and nothing in it works! We changed rooms 3 X because.......the fans in 2 rooms were so loud, In all 3 of the rooms the air vents were filthy. In our final room, the sofa bed hurt to sit on because the cushions were so old and worn that the hard wood was exposed and rubbed against the body. Bad pillows but great otherwise
Pretty solid stay. Breakfast was good as always. Pool was nice. Had a cool psychic feng shei shop. Showers had good flow, AC worked well. Only downside the pillows had zero support.Pretty solid stay.
