No AC and would not accommodate. What a gorgeous new hotel option in Pt Loma! My husband and I stayed for two nights, and had a wonderful experience. Rooms are very cute (a tad small but well appointed and clean), and the lobby and lounge spaces are great! We got to the hotel early after having had to check out of a previous spot, so no rooms were immediately available, but the wonderful young man at the desk (Manny) told me to give him half an hour and he’d figure it out for me. And he did!! By the time I walked back up to the desk half an hour later he just handed me a room key and had already put our bags in our room - such great initiative! Very nice young man! The only tiny suggestion I have for the hotel in general would be to upkeep the cushions on the lounge chairs and couches a bit better. There were lots of holes and food stains on them - and tables needed to be wiped off and cleaned. But otherwise it was a super cute fun space!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Monsaraz San Diego, Tapestry Collection by Hilton while attending a work function nearby, and I couldn’t have been more impressed.As someone who lives locally in Carlsbad, I don’t often book stays close to home-but this experience felt like a true getaway. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The property itself is beautifully designed, with a modern coastal vibe that feels both elevated and relaxing.My room was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail—from the bedding to the lighting-made it easy to unwind after a long day. The on-site dining was also a highlight, offering delicious options in a stylish setting.What really stood out, though, was the overall atmosphere. It struck the perfect balance between boutique charm and upscale service. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or, like me, just need a nearby escape, this hotel delivers.I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a polished, comfortable, and memorable experience in the San Diego area.
