This hotel is nestled at the edge of the spectacular San Diego Bay, where guests can enjoy the panoramic views of the bay, the marina and the city skyline. It lies 5 minutes' drive from Petco Park, 7 minutes by car from Mission Beach and 10 minutes from the shops of Horton Plaza and Seaport Village. It is also just 10 minutes away from an array of renowned attractions, including the San Diego Zoo, the Gas Lamp district with its nightspots, the Old Town and Balboa Park, while Sea World and the Qualcomm Stadium are 15 minutes' drive away. The Big Bear ski region is 3 hours from the hotel by car.

The hotel was modernised in 2024. 1064 rooms are located on 12 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. So disappointed by the sales team here. I called at 10AM in the morning to inquire about blocking off 7 rooms for some business team members that were flying in for a meeting for 2 days. When I looked online there were plenty of rooms available on multiple websites. I gave the local hotel sales rep my info and he said someone would call me back.
