Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Humphreys is a tropical get away. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of palm trees, activities on the lawn, & an amazing pool/Jacuzzi area. The reception area has a beautiful remodel & the friendly staff is always available. The location was great you could walk around to a few places and see the harbor. The room was a good size and comfortable. The shower got really hot. There was some deferred maintaince in our room like peeling wall paper. There was a small fridge thst worked well. We were right by the pool. Humphrey's is simply wonderful. The pool area and the fire pits -- it's like you're in another world. The rooms are large and comfortable. The view of the marina is cool. The cost is competitive with the mid-chains but the experience is so much better. Shelter Island is an awesome location. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.
