  I checked in on may 21 2026 and was put in room 415. I took a cold shower because there wasn't any hot water. I spoke with the front desk after and was switched to room 210.   Nice place, but worn out and needs a renovation.The breakfast was limited, but good.The staff who took care of the buffet were fantastic!The front desk staff were great!   Always an amazing stay at Hampton Inn, Mission Valley!

  We have stayed multiple times at this hotel. It's always a great visit. The room has always been clean, and smelled nice. The bed is always comfy with soft linens, good pillows, and an extra blanket in the closet if needed. We appreciate the fridge and microwave. We love breakfast here. A great variety each day.   After looking at some reviews I was a little apprehensive at booking at any hotel .My concerns were unfounded. The room was great ! It was ADA compliant so the room was BIG.
