  Nice area comfortable bed, decent breakfast, they stayed open for us as our flight was delayed, and we're friendly and helpful.

  I would first like to say that I was not aware of the Spark Hotel in Germantown until we were planning an event for my Dad's 80th Birthday and my Goddaughters 30th. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO STAY OR HAVE AN EVENT IN GERMANTOWN, Spark Hotel and The Highlands Event and Banquet Center IS THE PLACE TO BE! We had originally planned the event and signed the contract at Courtyard by Marriott at the RIO. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I will write their review on their page for you to check it out. But anyway, we literally had 2 days to get out of our contract with Courtyard and find somewhere else. Somehow, I got connected with Dennis at the Highlands next door and the rest was history! Dennis was VERY attentive and accommodating to ensure we had all the information we needed in the two days to make our decision. He worked with us and our budget and was able to provide space and rooms at a remarkable rate. Dennis went above and beyond and communicated with us the whole way to set our expectations about the event. Within 2 days we had everything settled and our hotel link for our guest, which was very impressive considering we had worked with Marriott for over a month and had not received the level of professionalism. The whole staff I encountered, Dennis, Ariana, Barack, Akil, Mauricio, AMAZING!! There was another lady at the front desk who's name I did not receive, however, my hats off to the hiring manager. You have done a wonderful job ensuing that customer service is top tier. I could go on and on about how welcomed I felt during our time at Spark. The rooms were clean and cozy, the breakfast was continental but good, and the event space was everything we needed for a successful event. I love that the Highlands has it's on entrance even though it is attached to the hotel. I have to give a special shout out to Mauricio who excelled in his role and even drove to the store to get us salad dressing when our caterer forgot it. WHO DOES THAT??? What a kind sweet spirit he has. He was very patient with his, answered all of our questions and concerns and solved a problem that was not even his to fix!! WOW is all I have to say. Great job Spark! I really hope this review is received and acknowledged of how great you all are. We will be back and will recommend you to everyone.

  An amazing stay!

  Excellent location, clean hotel, and amazing value. I needed a hotel close to the Germantown Sports Complex. The staff was truly exceptional—and when I say exceptional, I mean it. The front desk team members were awesome, with special thanks to Barack and Crystal, who were kind, accommodating, joyful, and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast team was also attentive and welcoming; one team member even went to the back to get ice for my water bottle, which was such a thoughtful touch.My room was cute, clean, and very comfortable. The furniture was smart and functional, and I really loved the design and layout of the rooms.I was meeting my elderly parents at the hotel, and they arrived separately and checked in before I did. Barack went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for since I couldn’t get there until a few hours later. They needed an accessible room, and he answered all my questions with patience and empathy while I was booking.In my non-accessible room, the bathroom was small but perfectly fine. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and this hotel absolutely delivered. I didn’t hear any noise in the evenings and slept great throughout my stay.

  Great service, and great help from the staff. Roland Cephas was great. My room had a little bit of a weird odor, and Roland got me a new room, no questions asked. He was very helpful and very friendly.

  Wow this hotel was a great find for our visit. We stayed for 3 days at the end of September and again for a day in October after we did a bike tour. Fantastic location. We took the metro to Washington DC one Sunday and then the next day got an Uber into DC. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. And the all the desk staff were very friendly and helpful. If we come back to Germantown, we will definitely stay here.
