Absolutely wonderful and enjoyable stay! The Sentinel was the perfect "home" base for my trip to Portland (solo + 12 YO son). Every team member we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room service was superb and we felt so comfortable in the well-appointed double room we selected - the robes, linens, comfortable chairs and bathroom amenities were excel… Absolutely wonderful and enjoyable stay! We really enjoyed our stay at the Sentinel. Very cool vibes here. A good blend of old style early 1900s architecture combined with modern day conveniences. The rooms were very quaint and cozy. Meredith and the staff at the front desk took very good care of us. We would definitely stay here again. Jake’s grill was also fabulous. The hotel is also very close to lots of activities in the city.We really enjoyed our stay at the Sentinel. Very cool vibes here. Great hotel for those who like a boutique style hotel. It is an older building but they have modernized appropriately. The room was gorgeous. The only thing that didn't match was the standard tube/walk-in shower experience we've gotten used to these days, but he size of the room and comfort definitely makes up for it. I'll definitely stay again. GREAT location too. Easy walking to the Pearl and in… Great hotel for those who like a boutique style hotel. Amazing experience. Room was amazing. Beautiful view from the balcony, hotel was in the center of everything, was able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do.
