The downtown area is about a 2-minute drive and it is some 9 minutes by car to the Portland Rose Garden, about a 10-minute drive to Portland Zoo, some 30 minutes by car to the Woodburn Company Stores and 50 minutes to local wineries. The Columbia River Gorge is roughly 83 km away and Mt Hood ski region is some 96 km away.

Fall in love here. This place has it all. A true jem. Rooms are spotless, large and comfortable. I received #402 magnificent sunset, beautiful views. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I was riding my Harley and the desk person got the spot right in front of the West entry. 24 hour view I can't remember his name but I will. They have a quality bar/ munchie area. Overpriced for what you get. Had to pay resort fee for no parking and bad coffee.Front desk staff was not friendly and welcoming at all. Not clean. Room smelled like smoke, hotel-brand condoms on the nightstand was a strange touch as well. I was there for about an hour while deciding what hotel to go to and they didn’t give me a full refund since I had already checked in. They made me pay two nights rate. Parking was either $20 or $40.
