If I could give this hotel 1 million stars, I would when we arrived. We arrived to the wrong location in downtown Portland and they very kindly understood and then directed us to the correct spot. Every person we interacted with was so friendly and caring and genuine. And you can tell that they actually enjoy their job. Looks like a nice hotel but it really is not. I checked in and as soon as I get to our room the TV is damaged. The room was dirty. There were toothpaste marks on the mirror. There was dust on the desk and cabinets. The shower doors were dirty. So they switch us to a different room. I stay at Marriotts exclusively. It was good because of the staffs’ courteous manner. On Checkin was not offered options of points or food voucher? Or Bottle water. This is a beautiful hotel; and it is located in the heart of downtown Portland. It was a trip to see my dad, and this hotel wasn’t too far from his house. My only thing was that I wish they had microwaves in the rooms, but that’s not a big deal at all, it’s more so for the convenience. Great value for its central location. We used transit to get around easily. Room was clean and well furnished for our three night stay.
