We were there at check in time but kept getting excuses that they did not have a room ready. They took two hours to finally assign us a room. They were very rude at the front desk. Where do I start. Due to a death in the family and moving to a new apartment we needed to stay at a hotel for a few weeks. Im a Red Roof Reward member so booked for Cartert. The beginning of our stay was pleasant enough and after our initial reservation we started booking night by night since we didn't know how much longer we would need a hotel. I have never had such a dreadful experience. There were druggies outside on premises all night and all day and outside my room at 10:30 PM people were yelling loudly down the hall. The furniture in the room is broken and there are stains all over the hallway floors. And to top it off, there was hair in the bathtub, stains on the wall, and faucets that were not properly cleaned.
