Nestled into the slopes of the Phoenix North Mountains, this resort property is located on 27 acres of land, surrounded by the Sonoran Desert. Guests will find restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the Biltmore Fashion Park shopping centre is 10 minutes away by car. The Arizona Snowbowl is around 2 hours and 40 minutes by car from the club resort, Tonto National Forest is a 2-hour drive away and Grand Canyon Village is roughly 4 hours' drive away. Scottsdale is approximately a 25-minute drive from the family-friendly conference hotel and other nearby places of interest include the Desert Botanical Garden and Phoenix Zoo (both 20 minutes by car), Chase Field (15 minutes), North Mountain Park (10 minutes) and Castles 'n Coasters (18 minutes). The centre of Phoenix is just 10 minutes away by car, and it is approximately 15 km to Phoenix-Sky Harbor International airport.

Guests have a choice of 563 non-smoking rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, basketball, crazy golf and golf. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, bowling, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath and a beauty salon and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

    Love the resort - not a fan of the lack of emergent planning

    My review is based off our full experience. The hotel itself was great the families there were very inviting and we loved the culture. Kids played in the courtyard late at night. Our conditioner bottle in the hotel room was detached from the shower wall and it was empty. We had our own cleaning items but would have been nice to see it available. My daughter however was injured at their water park. No one had any knowledge of how to address an urgent situation: the girl at the water slide did not have anything to say except to call security when my daughter was hurt coming down the slide. My daughter had something impelled inside into her foot and There was no inspection of the slide after my daughter was hurt which was concerning considering the metal debri found in her foot at the hospital was not reviewed by staff to prevent further injury. No one stopped the slide to evaluate the injury, no one on staff knew what to do and there was not a first aid kit with tweezers or anything available to assess my daughter’s injury. Security came with gauze and wound spray but they too had no experience dealing with this type of wound. In fact they stated any life threatening issues they would’ve called in as 911 but they were not prepared. This is disheartening as us parents are not medical professionals and should not have to make decisions like this for our kids. My daughter is now ok but why is there no staff that knows how to address emergency situations or advised how to pursue security issues? All I know is when security was called they were advised to leave the decision up to me and that was not a solid plan: I chose my child to have the best possible plan which was EMS eval which led us to Phx children’s hospital: we did X-rays as the distraction of the foreign object was unknown and my daughter is good but it disheartening to know we have to make our own choices when it comes to safety to our own kids. Luckily the parents who seen what we went through were kind and supportive. it’s crazy to think a resort leaves it up for the parent to know what’s best in emergent situations with no plan or first aid kit on board.

    We were looking forward to staying here. However, there was a lot of construction going on that we weren't made aware of. It was noisy and disturbing early in the morning. I would have booked somewhere else had I known there was major construction going on. The noise was very disturbing. Also, we paid for late check out. We were then locked out of room! We were never made aware of the late check-out policy. Which is - you have to go down to the front desk to get your room card re-coded. Very frustrating experience. The room was clean. That was the only nice part. All in all, I was very disappointed.

    My children had a wonderful experience here. Very family-friendly and clean, with good overall service. The noise level was moderate, and the amenities were nice.The rooms could use a little updating, and our door kept getting stuck during the stay. The location was great, though there was no complimentary breakfast, so food had to be ordered onsite. Service was a little slow at times, but the ladies working there were wonderful and very kind. Grace was excellent. The food was good, though the options were limited, and the pricing was fair.
