  I had a really unfortunate experience staying at this hotel and I would strongly caution others before booking here. Due to an unexpected situation during my stay, the hotel staff had to remove my belongings from my room. When I later received my items back, I noticed that several of my personal belongings were missing. Naturally, I went to the front desk to ask about it and try to figure out what happened. Instead of helping, the employee at the desk immediately became very defensive. From what I was told, she was also the person who packed up my belongings, which made the situation even more concerning. When I tried to discuss the missing items further, the manager got involved — who, I later found out, is the employee’s mother. She spoke to me on the phone and was extremely rude and dismissive, which felt like a major conflict of interest given the situation. I contacted corporate to report the issue, but was told that this location is independently owned, so they couldn’t really assist me. Because several of my belongings were missing, I ended up filing a police report. Shortly after doing so, the hotel decided to kick me out rather than address the situation. , General Manager at Red Roof Inn Philadelphia Oxford Valley, responded to this review Ms. Kareema Savitt booked a room at our location for February 27,2026 check out March 2,2026. On March 2 the front desk had her room down as a checkout at 12 noon housekeepers advised front desk the room still had personal belongings as well as a dog left in the room. Front desk proceeded to try to contact the guest with no luck phone was going straight to voicemail. Front desk extended the reservation with an additional day because it was well after checkout at this point. The next morning around 7:30 am the front desk received a phone call from the guest father stating that she was in jail and we should call animal control for her puppy and pack her belongings because he did not know when she would be able to get back here to property. On March 03, the Front desk and laundry staff packed up Ms. Savitts belongings with the manager supervising via facetime at no time any of her belongings were taken. On the 4th of March Ms. Savitts arrived back to the property and was given her belongings along with her dog because staff was nice enough to watch it until she returned. MS. Savitt upon arrival back to the property asked if she could be reimbursed for the days that she was not in the room due to being in jail and was told no, she also ensured the front desk that all of her belongings were there at that time. The next morning after shift change, she proceeded to come down to the office stating her belongings were missing a couple clothing items worth 600.00, In her belongings she had a iPad, Marijuana and other more expensive stuff why would anyone steal sweatpants and a shirt from target? she proceeded to call the police to make a false report and was asked to leave the property.

  A great, affordable place to stay!

  I loved this hotel! We had a room with one king bed and it was very clean and spacious and included a microwave and small fridge. The bathroom was a little cramped but clean, which is a priority for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful; we had no problem getting an extra pillow or sorting out my booking for an extra night. Parking is plentiful. The hotel is located near shopping centers and restaurants, which was very convenient. My only complaint would be that there were only two small bath towels and one hand towel for the two of us. We didn't bother to ask for extras. Overall, a terrific value!   RISKS of heat sickness, electrocution, break-in, contamination

  1. Lied to us about making note of needing ground floor room.2. Stifling heat-See photo of thermostat-no cover and warning of electric shock!! Tried using AC. It didn't cool the room-heat likely just worked harder. Then the AC started acting up and appeared unsafe to keep running. Walked to front desk. Told me to use that thermostat despite my telling her no cover on it. We left the door cracked up with the latch across...super cold night outside and we were left feeling very unsafe. Our options: Be sick from the heat. Risk a break-in while leaving the door ajar. Try using the AC (futile anyway) and have that short out, maybe catch fire. 3. Housekeeping walked right past a (sorry folks, this is what it was) bloody sanitary pad on the sidewalk right where we needed to wheel luggage...in the rain. Don't know if housekeeping dropped it there or a spiteful guest. Either way, unkind to innocent guests. 4. Upon checking out, I again complained to front desk. 5. I contacted RR and complained again. I received only a "cheery" little placating response that solved absolutely nothing, and assured me I could NOT expect better in the future.Stayed at same location the previous year. They didn't get our reservation correct then either and Mom and baby were left waiting in the cold in the dark while it took so long to sort things out at front desk. Housekeeping during that visit DID help get us up and down stairs with baby. Housekeeping also informed me at that time that the owner of the location did not invest in/care about this location to make repairs, etc. Rooms did APPEAR to be clean despite such disrepair. Going to have to save up to somehow afford higher priced hotels elsewhere next year. To Red Roof Customer Service: Gave you opportunities to make things right. You did not. Do not respond to this with more false declarations that you care about your guests. Some people do love to gripe and leave ugly reviews for no reason. This review is factual. We were unsafe and this review is to warn other potential guests.   The Health Department Needs To Shut Them Down!!!

  Disgusting! Dirty rooms, blood stained beds, roaches even in microwave, no security latch, broken smoke detector, broken bathroom fan, dog poop everywhere, poop comes up into tub, several overdoses in one weekend, prostitutes, foreigners propositioning guests for sex…RUDEST and RACIST Employees!!!!!!! Complain and they kick you out! This place should be condemned!!!!   Do NOT Stay Here!!!

  Our room reeked of marijuana & cigarette smoke (basically the whole property). There were blood stains on our sheets, and when we went downstairs to get new ones, the tenant in the lobby was asleep. We had chicken bones in the bathroom sink and sticky floors. Pay the extra money to stay across the street somewhere else.
