  Roaches and terrible customer service

  Manager Leslie , Izzy ROACHES!!! Pros: location, size of room Cons: roaches, terrible customer service, no call back when messages are left, too pricey for what it’s worth Rented for two nights Thursday and Friday .. but after just the first night i checked out … so many little roaches everywhere. I was scared to leave my stuff anywhere. i went to the lobby and explained the situation… the older lady was super flustered and told me the manager would call me later on when she came in .. forward 6 days later and me trying to reach the manager multiple times I get a hold of Izzy who doesn’t allow me to speak to the a manger Leslie but says Leslie will only refund me $100. Instead of the full night $169…. I was told since it was non-refundable I couldn’t get my money back. I tried to explain that if it wasn’t for ROACHES in my room I would of stayed the second night and Izzy just blew me off like it didn’t matter.. I’m sure Izzy or Leslie would stay in a roach filled room. Anyways first and last time. Disgusting is an understatement both the Roaches and the staff.

  Pool and hot tub NOT ADA compliant.

  3 out of 5 stars!! Came down for a quick getaway. Stayed 2 nights, originally booked a King handicap accessible room. When we arrived, we were told that the King ADA rooms were being remodeled, so we were upgraded to a King room with a Jacuzzi tub. This room met our needs, my wheelchair bound spouse was able to maneuver himself in and out of the Jacuzzi and really enjoyed being able to soak. However, the first morning we wake up at the hotel, I get a call from the front desk stating that the room we were currently in was reserved for the night and we would have to swap rooms!! Very frustrating!! We were moved to a king ADA room, which is what we had originally booked but was told was unavailable! Once we got moved, the room was good. Another thing that was disappointing is that the handicapped lifts for the pool and hot tub were not functioning!! So my husband did not get to enjoy either of them. Hotels should really be forced to follow laws for making their facilities ADA compliant. Having the equipment there with wires cut and parts missing is not compliant!! Also, I did go down to the hot tub one evening, although the temperature was good, the hot tub was not functioning correctly. The jets did not work, nor did the filter. The water was full of leaves, sand and even some trash. Overall the room was fine and the staff was very friendly, however we do not plan to stay here again. If the pool and hot tub lifts were fixed and the hot tub was repaired, we would love to stay again. Sad that we probably wont.

  The hotel has a fantastic location! All rooms face the sea and have balconies. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and include a living room and kitchen. The staff are also very friendly.The price is very seasonable!

  This was my second time at the resort and I had a great time once again. The view was beautiful and all of the staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

  First of all, check in was pleasant and effortless. Miss Karen, Akilah & Brianna are both professional and knowledgeable about the property and made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. Perfect location, right on the beach! Very quiet and family friendly atmosphere. The room was extremely clean with everything I needed. Crystal and her staff did an amazing job!I definitely recommend the Beachcomber and will return.
