Lovely room and hostess was charming and polite BUT not withstanding the fact that we booked this more than a month in advance to celebrate my husband‘s birthday, and we specifically asked on the reservation for a birthday candle and cake, and that the hostess was reminded as we checked in, and that I left during the meal to remind the hostess again (who assured me that the server was aware) and at the end of the meal when I went out and spoke to them again, we never received a birthday dessert or candle. They brought us the check to leave. When I went to speak to the manager, all he could do was say “sorry“. I am sure that there was nothing he could do given the fact that we had paid already but, we did remind them three times and they said it was noted on our reservation. It was profoundly disappointing because it was supposed to be a special birthday lunch. Great staff but the room left a lot to be desired

Good location if youPlan to see broadway shows. We were so disappointed with the room which was supposed to be deluxe. It was tiny and not enough space for multiple people or luggage. The bathroom was again, very small and didn’t have a shower door with lots of water all over! The room service menu (New York prices) was lackluster and not a great option. The best part of our stay was the staff. Multiple members were very friendly, helpful, etc.

Fantastic customer service and guest relations when in a pinch

I was booked to stay this week at the Edition Times Square and I accidentally booked the wrong dates for my business trip but I didn't realize this until I landed in NYC and was in the car to the hotel. I called the hotel somewhat frantic and reached a human on the first ring, and when I asked to speak to a manager, I was transferred within one minute. Talia was the Guest Relations Manager with whom I spoke and she was incredibly helpful in helping resolve my issue, quickly, and with grace. As a Bonvoy Titanium member, I have to give the highest marks for customer service on this matter. I plan to stay at The Times Square Edition on my next visit to NYC. Thank you Talia and team!

Good stay, not for light sleepers

The hotel is very modern and clean. We found our room to be on the smaller side, but given New York standards it was fine. For the price that we paid it provided great value for us. It is however a very noisy hotel as expected with it's proximity to the Times Square. Be warned that even if you close your blinds, some light will still come through and flash throughout the night. If you're a light or sensitive sleeper I'd recommend going to a different location. The breakfast was good, however the service could've been more attentive. For how the hotels in U.S go I'd say this one is above average.

Perfect Location with Excellent Service - Times Square Edition

We stayed at the Times Square Edition and had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for exploring NYC and within walking distance to many highlights. The concierge and attendants were friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our visit. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a great view facing Times Square. We highly recommend this hotel for visitors who want a central well appointed hotel with excellent service.
