Excuse me, but can I have access to the advertised amenties?

    rating05 Mar 2026

I chose the hotel for the location with work in mind, and the EV charging. Unfortunately for me - a red Honda CRV CT plate BL-55235 used by an employee parks in the only EV charging spot for long day and early evening hours. I asked directly at the desk - was told it wasn't an employee car...I've stayed 3 times in the last month and it is always in the spot - MANY other spots are available that this employee should consider parking. In addtion, the breakfast, and Wednesday manager reception are heavily trafficked by employees - large groups descend to get food. I'm okay with feeding employees - but would perfer that employees use discretion and allow paying guests to have access to the breakfast and manager reception? Room is clean - just wish amenities like breakfast, reception, and EV charge space all listed on the website were guest accessible. Disappointing vibe at this hotel - feels like paying customers are afterthought.

    Broken EV chargers!

    rating11 Jun 2025

Feeling super frustrated as I write this review. I called to confirm they had EV chargers before I booked this hotel. They said they had multiple chargers complimentary for guests so I booked the room for 1 night for a work trip. When I got here I found out that 6 of the 8 chargers they have are broken. The other 2 were taken. I travel once a week for work and drive an EV so I count on these chargers on overnight stays so it would have been nice if they told me 75% of them don’t work, oh well! Other than that the hotel is nice enough and the room is clean and spacious. If you are not an EV driver this place is fine for an overnight stay but unless they fix the chargers I won’t be back.

    Fine accommodations for business travel

    rating02 Jun 2025

Visited the Homewood Suites in Orange for a couple nights on a work trip. My room, and the property overall, was clean and well appointed. Has everything you need for a comfortable work trip. Staff was very accommodating, helpful, and personable no matter what time I went to the front desk. Enjoyed the Wednesday Happy Hour for guests but must comment on what I thought were odd combos available - hots and burgers, carrot cake, and soup? Regardless it was welcome! Great place to stay when visiting the Orange area

Did not live up to expectations of a Homewood Suites nor Hilton properties

    rating12 Apr 2025

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member for many years, I enjoy staying at different properties across the portfolio whenever I travel, and this solo weekend getaway trip was no different. However this property missed the mark, big time. Advance check-in and room selection the day before arrival went well. Around lunchtime several hours before I planned to arrive. I received a welcome text from the hotel recognizing my Diamond status and advising that they were here for anything I needed. Nice touch, but would they follow through? I responded asking if my complimentary spring water is available in the suite, or would I need to stop at the front desk? Advised of the latter, when I arrived around 5 PM I did stop at the desk to get my water, and was also given a plastic room key in case the Digital one didn't work.Digital did work, and I proceeded into my room. I noticed that the room was a little cold, so I put on what I thought was heat. It was about 39-40 degrees outside, so heat would be needed. I figured it would take a while to warm up.Fast forward past dinnertime. A couple hours after arrival I noticed it was still cold in the room. I tried all different settings on the thermostat to no avail. Cold air was still coming out of the unit.So now was the time to take the front desk up on its offer to this Diamond member to provide anything I needed. I advised in the text that I was trying to get heat and asked what am I doing wrong? The response was, "Yeah. I can send someone up to help." Yeah? Is that professional? Does that portray that you care about my issue?Half an hour later, a man showed up at the door. He fiddled with the thermostat and the unit by the windows, and determined the problem could not be fixed. He left presumably to check if any other rooms were available. He returned a few minutes later to advise me that the hotel was sold out. I said I guess that means I will freeze tonight. He said he was sorry, but offered no further solutions. No further communication came from the front desk.Needless to say, I spent the night shivering and did not sleep well because of this. At age 64 it's hard to fall asleep as it is. Having extremities such as my face not covered by the blanket exposed to the cold did not help.In the morning I made sure to check-out in person rather than via the app. I told the woman at the desk that I had no heat. She seemed indifferent and surprised by this, so apparently my situation was not communicated between shifts. And although she did also apologize, nothing further was done or offered to compensate me for what I went through.I left the property in a heated Uber car and never looked back because there is no way I would ever return to subject myself to those conditions ever again. While it is true that I exercised my privilege as a Hilton loyalty member to choose my own room, I had no way of knowing that the one I chose would lack such a basic amenity as heat on a cold night.

    Weekend stay

    rating04 Nov 2024

The suite was amazing however, we didn't have time to use the kitchenette as we would have liked too. The receptionist and staff were great. The only issue we encounter was that the TV channel weren't working but their apps did so it didn't matter. We had complimentary breakfast every morning if we wanted. The breakfast was ok. Checkout was a breeze. They had a fitness area, a pool and an outdoor half court for basketball. There was a laundry room that one can use.
