So to get this straight from the beginning this is a motel not a hotel. All the rooms open onto a very busy street area. We were booked in here by our UK travel company for our anniversary but checked straight out after seeing it. There are plenty of decent hotels downtown which is where we ended up. I saved $200+ a night by staying three blocks away instead of paying the negotiated $399 per night at my convention hotel (the Renaissance Hotel). The room was excellent - very clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure and temperature in the shower, modern fixtures and furniture, ample work area, above-average desk chair, Keurig coffee brewer. Horrible experience. This hotel charged my credit card (2 nights - $669.4) AFTER a confirmed, on-time cancellation. (In fact, I canceled well within the allowed cancellation period and did receive a written email confirmation, proving the reservation was canceled. There is no dispute about the facts.
