This was a nice little hideaway from the businesses of downtown. The staff and other people staying at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. I hate that I even have to take the time to type this. So... after a day of traveling hours to Nashville and moving our college student back into school my husband and I finally arrived at this Home2 Suites. We arrived around 10:30p.m. I went in to check in and no one was at the front desk, but they did leave a sign saying that they would be back shortly and feel free to get some coffee or tea. That was fine and understandable.I waited for at least 10 mins. I thought maybe they were at their lunch, so I decided to check in and request a digital key. Well with the digital key they still need to check your ID, so we of course still had to wait.My husband by this time game in with our bags and we were the only ones sitting and standing by the front desk. An employee came in, she didn't say anything like, I'll be right with you, are you waiting to check in, nothing, but since she went in the back of the counter, I assumed she must be the front desk employee. I proceed to walk up to the desk and with her dry tone, she was like, one moment I need to log in, I was like okay I just need my digital Key. After she got my id and initiated the digital key, I ask if we could get a water that was behind the desk in the Hilton bags. She said you can purchase one over there pointing to the refrigerated case. Just not welcoming not nice at all. I said oh. I thought Hilton members get free waters, and she proceeded to tell me that silver and above do. I was like oh okay, I'm just used to them offering it. -( and this is probably because I usually make at least silver by now)Honestly with the time I waited and dealing with an employee who acted like people checking in was bothering her, it would have been hospitable to offer 1 water instead of being rude and unwelcoming.

Wallace the shuttle driver is awesome!!! He told us what to expect and was super!! He got us downtown during the chaos of CMA fest without any complaints! We stay at this hotel because of their excellent shuttle service! Highly recommend staying here! Great Complimentary Shuttle Service!

You can't beat Wallace with the shuttle service! He is always willing to take passengers wherever they need to go in Nashville (within reason, of course). He always gives great advice on where to eat and some of the best places to visit in Nashville during the shuttle ride. He's very fast with pickup and getting passengers to their destinations.
