  Hotel just like the people on tge street they talk about

  Staff upon entry were rude and unhelpful. Had reservation and some older employee stood watching tv while I tried to gain entry to fulfill reservation. Used valet so they could take care of parking. All valets told me price for parking and because they cant find real jobs they overcharged me to park.

  Enjoyed our stay, but some common areas need renovation

  Our stay was perfectly fine...good breakfast buffet with lots of choices, nice room, fairly quiet, friendly staff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it really needs a renovation of the common areas (and some features of the room needed a little sprucing up - for example, there was not a plug for the bathtub - so I had to use the rubber non slip mat over the drain to fill up the tub) The furniture in the lobby and breakfast seating area is really tattered. Some built in banquette benches were literally shredded. It didn't bother me that much, but if they could fix that, it would be top notch.

  Excellent Hotel and Excellent Staff!

  We had a great stay at this hotel thanks to several of the staff. Kerolos, Taylor, and Derrick were all fantastic and were extremely professional and friendly. Kerolos was great checking in/out and helping us with questions and any issues that we had. Derrick and Taylor were great with checking in/out our vehicle so we can get places. They were prompt, fast, and professional and the wait time was minimal. Taylor was great helping us find a great place to eat around town which we appreciated. The chicken place was great Taylor thank you! Overall we had a great stay at the hotel with no issues. This hotel is also a great hub for seeing all the sights around Nashville, everything was in walking distance. The hotel also seemed very secure with badge entry at all door locations. The gym was also well maintained. We will be staying here again due to the above mentioned staff and the location. Highly recommend!

  This is the most worn out Hampton Inn in America. I can’t understand how it is ranked high, truly subpar. From the peeling chairs to the ratchet bar in the lobby.

  Convenient location, but somewhat disappointed. We won’t be back.

  We stayed here for a couple of days so we could be close enough to walk to a symphony concert. We were also able to walk to the Johnny Cash Museum, which was fun. There was also a very large building with numerous restaurants nearby. Pros: Convenient location in downtown. Room was clean. Wide variety of food for breakfast in the lobby. The valet attendant was kind and considerate. We had access to our car in the parking garage, so we could get things out, or take them inside. We were able to pack the car before the valet brought our car to the front upon departure. Cons: My biggest gripe is the bathroom sink. The faucet spigot is extremely close to the counter, and every time we used it water would get all over the counter behind it. We used a lot of towels to minimize that. When we arrived, the receptionist wasn’t too friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. The valet parking is unavoidable, and expensive. Some of the breakfast food was not good, the grits and oatmeal come to mind. All of the chairs in the lobby had damaged cushions. One night a street sweeper truck came through, and we had to listen to beeping and see blinking lights for several minutes when we were hoping to be sleeping. The day we left, a housekeeper banged on our door before we had checked out. Overall we were disappointed, and won’t return.
