I made plans for a shelling trip and found The Boat House on line. The rate was reasonable, the location was near where I was headed and it was walking distance to The Snook Inn which was recommended for dinner. Even though this is an older property, my stay was wonderful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the Keurig coffee maker and complimentary coffee was a bonus! The location in Old Marco on the north end of Marco is great. Right on the water. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, bright and clean. They have windows on the front and back, so lots of light. The people are really nice, the parking is right at your front door and free. Good restaurants nearby, some with live music, walkable.
