Stayed 3 nights here and while the hotel is maybe a little dated the stay was very good with the front desk staff excellent to work with. They helped us with selecting places to eat and see and did it gladly. The breakfast staff was good. I would definitly stay here again.

Incompetent front desk

I received a call at 11pm from the front desk saying there was a “noise complaint” from my room when my neighbors tv was on max. Then at 5:30 am this same room is blasting Glorilla mo money mo problems. But the sexist receptionist only called me room cause we were laughing and talking. When they’re blasting a tv and music. Great pre-cruise location

This was our first time in Mobile, there for a pre cruise stay. This hotel is a good choice as it very close to the port and close to downtown shopping and dining. It is walkable to downtown but the weather was not great for our stay. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We pre-purchased breakfast with the onsite restaurant and it was good, buffet style with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and grits and a mix of fresh fruit. Views from the rooms are great if you’re on a high floor. They do have a sky bar on site, however we did not get to partake due to a private event that was quite loud until about 10:30pm. Important to know that onsite free parking is very limited. If you arrive later in the day, there is a paid parking garage next door and metered street parking available.

Older Hotel But very Comfortable with a Great Staff

In October, my wife and I decided to go to Key West. Since we had not spent much time in Mobile, as IHG members we decided to spend the night at this hotel since it was advertised as being in the historic district. Although the hotel was in need of some updating, we couldn't have had a better night's sleep. Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable. One thing that made our stay most enjoyable was the lady on the front desk named Miesha. She could not have been nicer.

Needs improvements but great staff

Hotel staff is a 10. The pool was great, but it didn't have a hot tub, but it was a nice relaxing area. Rooms are spacious and have all basic needs covered. The rooms felt very humid and had an unpleasant smell. The bathtub needs to be replaced, but if you like showers, it works fine. Area felt safe and has great food options all around. Hotel parking was easy and free. Breakfast was an extra cost and the hotel has a restraunt. Neither one did we try, so I can't offer feedback.
