This is my second time at this location. I enjoy it for the location, and the atmosphere it provides. The rooms are always well maintained for what they cost, and the hotel itself is always quiet and clean. The bar is lovely, and open late enough that you don't need to rush back to the hotel at the end of the day. Best "Bang For Buck" in Downtown Minneapolis

We always stay at the Downtown Embassy Suites when travel to Minneapolis. We are huge Vikings and Timberwolves fan and attend at least 10 games per year, you cannot beat the location of the Embassy Suites. But location is not everything! Book it, it is a great location for football and baseball games with several bars and restaurants. We didn’t have to rent a car so it is a do-able walkable location. Clean, huge, vintage building, high-end fixtures and furniture. Impressed with decent breakfast. Security was present and felt safe. Would definitely recommend this place! Really enjoyed my stay here, safe area and fun.

Really enjoyed my stay here, great location and super cool to be connected to other buildings with indoor bridges. Room was spacious and really comfortable. Parking was not the most convenient, as the valet was the only option. This is pretty much to be expected at any major Downtown area, but was walkable to many business and not too far from the Mall of America.
