Amber helped make our stay at Embassy Suites feel like a "home away from home". She was friendly and engaging and helped us straighten out the reservation. She made sure we had all our requests for :bedding, ice, coffee and the coffee machine as well as giving us advice about the food in the restaurant . She helped my son pick out the delectable Cheese cake slices and what was the best combination… Amber helped make our stay at Embassy Suites feel like a "home away from home". Please save yourself the trouble and do not go here! We had a horrible experience! The whole place was under construction, which we didn’t discover until we arrived. There was construction noise and debris everywhere and woke the children on a Sunday morning. We all ended up sneezing and coughing from all the dust. My family stayed here for a basketball tournament this past weekend. The hotel was under renovation but there was no prior notice. There was only one very small door in and out of the hotel which is an huge fire hazard. Our room was one of the newly remodeled ones and the updates were great. The staff was not terribly pleasant. The room I was put in was one of the worst in my Hilton Experience. I am a Gold member and have stayed at a lot of Hilton properties and this was probably my worst experience. The room did not have lamp shades, had a odd black substance on the ceiling that resembled mold, the tub was gross and had really bad caulk. The entire place was under construction. There was nothing goid about our stay. No notice that construction was going on. The entire atrium was under construction. Fitness room was closed. Loud work started right outside our door before 7:30 on a Sunday. Our room was old, needs revamping, very outdated and worn. Beds are uncomfortable, sofa bed is terrible.
