    I had a wonderful experience at Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore during my stay in Miami Beach. From the moment I arrived, Apollo at the front desk made me feel genuinely welcome. He was friendly, professional, and provided a smooth check-in experience with a warm smile and excellent hospitality.I would also like to recognize Sergio, who warmly welcomed us upon arrival and kindly assisted with our luggage to the room. His friendly attitude, positive energy, and willingness to help made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for a great stay.As an added touch, we were delighted to find a thoughtful welcome gift waiting in our room, including a bottle of wine and other goodies. It was such a nice surprise and made us feel truly valued as guests.Both Apollo and Sergio represent outstanding customer service and helped make our stay even more enjoyable.     Will NEVER stay at this hotel again. So many issues - Room did not have Smart TV’s (no streaming- charged $12 a day to use YouTube) and TV had light “bleach like” spots in it. Tried to check out after a day (booked for 6 days) and had to have PROOF of a medical emergency and hospital stay to shorten stay!!!! Was basically forced to stay. Then paid additional $300 for breakfast at Salt cafe, but did not mention that the menu for that is limited to basic 4/ 5 options and not the full breakfast menu. Refrigerator in room did not work. Manager was rarely onsite.     I recently stayed at Iberostar and was disappointed with my experience. The rooms do not deserve a four-star rating; they are more akin to three stars, especially considering the high price of nearly CHF 300 per night.I encountered continuous noise, even with the air conditioning off, and despite complaining, all rooms seemed to have the same issue. The staff member ( a man) at the reception was unprofessional, suggesting I buy earplugs instead of addressing my concerns.The cleanliness was also lacking, as traces of excrement remained in my toilet for two days, and there was no toilet brush available. Additionally, the bedding quality was poor, and the elevator was extremely slow.After raising my complaints, I received a refund for the taxes, thanks to my travel agency.
