  Would not stay or recommend!

  Okay. You could tell they "tried" to remodel, but we would have stayed downtown if we knew the condition of the place. Room smelled like body oder, toilet kept running, make up mirror coming out of wall. Just felt dirty and definitely a little rough. They did try, safety and overall stay is a 3.   I had an amazing experience at the Hilton Memphis Hotel the Front Office Manager Kim Wheeler assisted me when I checked in as well as when I checked out the thing that most impressed me about Miss Wheeler was on the first night that I stayed.   I usually have very good luck on business trips booking Hilton properties, but regretted this one.Coworker’s room was hot, mine was 59 degrees most mornings (seems whatever you set the thermostat to you get whatever).   Solid hotel - some areas would benefit from an update

  Hotel is quite an old design now but the staff were great. The lobby area is spacious and open and we found quite a lot of people choose this area to work in. The WiFi in the property was initially not working correctly but was fixed mid stay. Pool and gym were ok. The food from the coffee/snack area was actually really good.   Hotel staff really lovely, kind and helpful. Ladies in the little cafe again so welcoming. We ordered croissants and tea for our first morning but were given a toasted brioche burger bun. We ate it but I did mention it the next day and the lady said that’s all they have at this particular Starbucks. Room quite nice, very clean. Bathroom tiny and definitely needed a bit of updating.
