  I encountered an exceptional experience with the staff. They were all so very friendly to me and extremely accommodating. The room was perfect and ifI had the opportunity to live here forever I would. I’m very grateful to the staff and the wonderful experience they shared with me. The breakfast was awesome as well! I would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay.

  Before I came to the hotel, I pre-checked in online and submitted all of my information, including my driver’s license, car information, and contact details. However, when I arrived, I was asked to repeat the entire process again, which made the online check-in pointless and frustrating.The first room I was given was extremely dirty. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. When I tried to use the microwave, it didn’t work until I picked it up and moved it to the floor to try another outlet, which confirmed the entire wall outlet was dead. The toilet didn’t work at all either, wouldn’t flush, and kept running continuously. Then I saw cockroaches crawling across the floor. I caught one in a cup, brought it to the front desk, and requested a refund or a new room.The front desk attendant was very polite and moved me to another room, but the new room was somehow even dirtier. The floors were filthy, the microwave was splattered with food, and when I laid a towel on the bathroom floor, it actually came up covered in dirt. I went to take a shower and the whole faucet came out of the wall when I tried to pull the lever up to turn the water on for the shower head. The whole door was dented in as if someone had tried to kick it in or was thrown into it. It was terrifying. The walls were thin and I could hear children running and yelling outside until nearly midnight, and I could hear every movement from the room above me and could actually hear every time they sat down in the bed upstairs. It was impossible to relax or sleep.Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. For the price, the conditions were unacceptable- dirty, noisy, and unsafe. I took photos of everything because I was shocked that a hotel in this condition is still open. Even the breakfast hours were pretty unreasonable, and basic kitchen supplies were missing. I’ve stayed at other extended stay hotels and never had an experience anywhere near this bad.I’m surprised to see the Wyndham name attached because their hotels used to be held to a higher esteem.

  Nice experience to stay at Hawthorn Suites Eatontown. Room is very spacious and was renovated. Staffs are very helpful.

  Horrific Hotel Stay

  Hello,Myself and my spouse flew from Kentucky to New Jersey for a wedding and stayed at your hotel location in Tinton Falls. Upon arrival we were given a room and as soon as we walked in I was immediately disgusted and horrified. It looked NOTHING as it was advertised, it smelled of cigarettes and was FILTHY!! There was no iron or ironing board. Certain lights did not work and we were short towels and toilette. We immediately grabbed our belongings and headed back to the front desk. I was already beat there by another complaining customer who was very upset about the condition of her room. I informed the front desk gentlemen that I did not want to stay and wanted to check out and get my money back immediately. At which point another gentlemen who seemed to be management came out of the office and advised he could give me and I quote "A newer model room". We asked to see the room first. He showed me the room and at first glance everything seemed okay, even though I could tell this room was NOT newly modeled. Upon further looking into this room we discovered the following. The faucet in the tub was literally bursting out of the wall. A piece of the wall was sitting on the side of the tub behind the shower curtain so we didnt see any of this until after we agreed to stay. The stove was filthy, the coffee maker rusted, the kitchen sink crooked and falling off. At this point it was far too late to go searching for another room at another establishment, it was getting late and we had a rehearsal dinner to attend. I took photos of the things we found and took them to the front desk the next morning. I was informed by the same front desk gentlemen that we would NOT be charged for that and he would and I again quote "Have a maintenance man fix it while we are out". We returned later in the day and NOTHING was fixed. I also noticed you had SEVERAL disgruntled looking long term residents living on the property which made the hotel feel unsafe and unwelcoming. I was absolutely grossed out, disgusted, disappointed and BEYOND ANGRY at the conditions and state of this hotel and it almost ruined my entire stay! Had it not been for us having no choice we would've left.

  This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stay at. Property was run down. Rooms smelled musty. Pieces of flooring, carpet and trim were missing. TV didnt work.
